RSVP now to attend an intimate tea tasting and food pairing event, Tuesday, October 4, 6-8 PM. We will sample several teas from the spring 2016 harvest of some of the smallest farms we work with through our direct trade & reserves program. Special guests who just returned from those farms will help facilitate the tasting while we enjoy Japanese-inspired vegetarian dishes prepared by Chef Brian Durbin's team at Bar Vacilando. $20 at the door; RSVP required online or in our cafe. RSVP by Sept 30 via our Facebook event page.
Thanks to the dozens of generous folks who helped support our Tea Party & Silent Auction event to benefit Street Yoga on September 22nd. Over $4000 was raised to help this community organization provide yoga and mindfulness training to youth affected by trauma. Our custom tea blend made just for Street Yoga will be available for sale at our NW Tea Festival booth, October 1 & 2 at Seattle Center! Proceeds from the sale of this tea will continue to support Street Yoga's work in our community and beyond. Find pictures of the event on our Facebook page.
